A friend asked me how I expected to vacation on a budget of $1400 a month.
I told him that these days, cash is as good as money.
He knows that what I do can't really be called vacationing.

At $1400/mo with taking a room seems to be a do-able option. One can eat rather inexpensively especially with a room - lots of fresh fruits, kibble . . . .

I may consider doing without one.

To stay within a $1400/mo budget one may have to consider kibble.

puppy kibble
kittly kibble
rabbit kibble

I can eat rabbit and perhaps puppy, but may not be able to manage kitty.
