Mitt Romney's father, George W. Romney, was born near Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico in Colonia Dublan, Galeana in 1907.
The Romneys lived in Mexico because of U. S. government opposition to polygamy, but moved to the US during the Mexican Revolution.
