Prepositions

A just government of the people, by the people, and for the people is a big deal.
A republican may believe that it is so big that it contains all the people.
A democrat may believe that it is best when all the people are welcome all the time.
A republican may believe hat it is best when each is truly represented.
A democrat may believe that it is best when each truly represents himself or herself.

In that just government of, by, and for you and the others you may negotiate how you cooperate with those others.
Ongoing communication is necessary for effective cooperation.

Prices on the Malecon

I was able to stay in a place on the beach in Matzatlan, Sinaloa for about 27 usd.
It had a bedroom with two double beds and good closet space. The bedroom had its own nice little balcony. There was also a large sitting room and a pretty complete kitchenette. This suite also had use of a large terrace shared with three other rooms. Views were wonderful. Drawbacks were: third floor walk-up, entrance to parking area a bit narrow.

American Citizens

We often seem lazy, irresponsible, and cowardly in how we relate to our governance. If we are as we seem, I wonder why that is? There are probably causes. It seems certain that laziness, irresponsibility, and cowardice would effect the way we govern ourselves. Laws of cause and effect are acting, citizen.

All Who Wander are not Lost

A mature, competent looking lady had on her car, a bumper sticker which read, "All who wander are not lost." I like that.
There was a time I would not have thought it needed saying.

A Boot in My Tire

Damaged a tire on the Astro with some bad driving on a bad road. Did get some great mountain views.

Spent a couple of very pleasant hours with Don Gorge. He is older, blinder, and weaker than I am. Enjoyed his talk and point of view. The part we both enjoyed most was feeding his fish. Mostly as a hobby, or, as he says, a therapy, he has a sizable and very productive fish farm. He grows bagre and tilapia. That's a kind of catfish and tilapia.

I feel I am paying too much for my experience here a El Hotelito del Jardin. The locals are deeply shocked when they here what I am paying. I am treated well enough. If you have an artsy bent, a leaning toward the high art of home decoration, and an appreciation of things French, you would love the place.

Didn't sleep as well as I might have last night due in some part to doors slamming in the wind.

Had a very detailed dream of a curative type steam bath experience involving a lot of 'greasewood.'

May take a drive into some back country to a place called Provincias.

Provincias was not that far back. However, I did continue on a dirt road that got pretty rough and turned into a motorcycle trail. Found out it was a road to a fairly famous gold that shut down not that long ago.

Met an older man back in Provincias who was raising fish as a hobby. He did sell some. enjoyed talking with him and feeding the fish.

I am using my new laptop.

I'm in Mexico. More precisely, I'm in Tuito, Jalisco in the Cabo Corrientes area between Puerta Vallarta and Manzanillo.

I am babying myself in a boutique hotel run by a French couple.
The place is a work of art. Breakfast is large and good. The pool is pretty, clean, and well cared for. Everything is more than I can afford.

Tuito is not Fajardo, Costa Rico, but lots of fighting cocks are raised here.

I'm finding the laptop frustrating to use. Lots of mismoves and surprising errors. May put it in a UPS box and ship it home.
