When Does One Have Enough

Information to act is necessary before ones actions are likely to move a situation in a positive direction.
How do you care?
What information do you need to act effectively?
How do you get the information you want?
When do you want to care?
Who needs care?
Who deserves care

I'm thinking that I might benefit by taking these questions more personally. For example: How do I care for my fellow citizens?
How do I care for my neighbors.
What care does my family need.
What caring action will I take today

'The Labor Temple,' Isn't Doing the Job

For an important period of time 'The Labor Temple,' and perhaps a newspaper published there, was a great source of information which we could trust.

Today much of 'organized labor' is no longer considered a brotherhood of trust.

Where can we get information that we trust, which we need, and which we want?

Well, let me suggest that it takes a tiny bit of cooperation and a tiny bit of participation. If we leave it completely up to 'the other guy,' it will be information that he can trust, which he needs, and what he wants. Just like 'Wall St.' those gathering the info need a bit of oversight, and those doing the oversight need a bit of the same.

Remember What We Can Do

You and I are responsible for our civil liberties.
Our covenant with each other is the source of our rights.
We claim our rights by using them.
The rights less used, are usually those most likely to be lost.
Good men have said that our liberty to choose and our right to claim are God given.

Let's be clear about the promises we have made each other about the following rights:
~ the right to timely and useful information(to be well informed)
~ the right to a clean and safe environment(to lessen disease and war)
~ the right to competent government oversight(to lessen ignorance)

Let's wisely take responsibility for our rights and use them as wisely as we are able.

One World

I've heard that about 1/4 of the air pollution in L. A. comes from China.
How much of the air pollution in China comes from L. A.?


As a people we need to: train people; organize exchanges of information, personal, and technology; aerate issues by discussion.
The Chinese and others have similar needs.
Seems like a opportunity to make a buck.
Perhaps, well motivated diplomatic corps and organizations of higher learning may find opportunities in those needs to move us toward a safer more stable world.

If you find that safety and stability is not your thing, perhaps attention to such needs by those prepared to do something about them can move us to a more interesting world of greater abundance.
