It seems that most individuals take some pleasure in governing their bodies to some extent.

A body politic may be called a single, whole, organized gathering of human beings.

To rule myself, It seems I must get myself together and get organized. Guess I'd benefit by reviewing what I know about the nature of organization.

The art of civil administration is called politics. 'Politics' is used to refer to the affairs of the body politic. The things we do as citizens is called politics.

As individuals and in groups we are guided, directed, and steered through life in various ways. We sometimes attend to those ways which seem to work for us.

We mostly agree that we are not completely rudderless.

Myanmar is a complicated country to govern. Upsetting the balance there is likely to cause the death of a great many innocent people.

Upsetting the balance of power in that beautiful country is like to start a long lasting, multi-sided, civil war.

The present regime their is imperfect, but it is preserving the nation and lives of its peoples.

"The generals" are willing to talk, are open to change for the better, and are able to follow through on well considered compromise.

Govern

We are in this boat together.
We are not rudderless.
We can steer our boat.

What is sovereign authority?
Who says you have to pay taxes?
What can you do about it?

Authority is exercised by an author.
An author is a creator and originator.

Who is creating our republic?

Who steers the ship of state?
Who plots the course?
Who selects the ports of call?
Who chooses the cargo?
Who selects and chooses passengers and crew?

Do you have a seat?
Where do you stand?
What is a body politic?
What are you doing with your body?

You are part of more than one community.
A citizen is a person in community.

Politics is the art of civil administration.
The people are the polis and politics is their responsibility.

American Citizens

We often seem lazy, irresponsible, and cowardly in how we relate to our governance. If we are as we seem, I wonder why that is? There are probably causes. It seems certain that laziness, irresponsibility, and cowardice would effect the way we govern ourselves. Laws of cause and effect are acting, citizen.

Lazy Us.

We have sold our childrens chance for democracy out from under them. Because we have been to lazy to govern ourselves it will be nearly imppossible for them to govern themselves. Worse we have failed to teach them to govern themselves.
We didnt blink when we gave them the Saving and Loan mens debt.
Know we are going to saddle them with a another trillion dollars in debt.
We appear to hate them.
